    SOA 
    is the premier youth sports league in San Antonio, Texas. 
    We offer basketball, flag football, 7-on-7, soccer, cheer leading, summer day camps, basketball camps, sports clinics, and developmental skills training.

    Basketball

    SOA Basketball runs year round in three different areas of San Antonio. There will be individual orientations for our North, South, and West locations. You are highly encouraged to attend your own perspective orientation. Our North League services the NEISD, JISD and CISD areas with games and practice locations at NEISD schools.  Our West League services the NISD area with games and practice locations at NISD schools.  Our South League services our south side of San Antonio with practices being at HISD schools or Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center, and game locations at Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center at 2860 Louis Bauer Dr. The leagues are co-ed and open to basketball players from 5-14 years old. Parents or adults wishing to volunteer for basketball or cheer should contact the league at 210 -775-2807 for registration information. SOA basketball provides a highly competitive yet nurturing environment, offering All-Girls, and Co-Ed Beginner through Advanced Divisions in many of our age groups.  Included with every registration is 7 league games, a high quality reversible game jersey, 1 hour secured practice location with their team, and an end of season single elimination tournament in which all teams participate, plus the possibility of your team being invited to our Best of the Best Tournament, facing all of our area winners for the top spot! 

    Cheer

    SOA Cheer runs in conjunction with our Basketball season. Girls will cheer during our basketball games. There will be individual orientations for our North, South, and West locations. You are highly encouraged to attend your own perspective orientation. Our North League services the NEISD, JISD and CISD areas with games and practice locations at NEISD schools.  Our West League services the NISD area with games and practice locations at NISD schools.  Our South League services our south side of San Antonio with practices being at HISD schools or Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center, and Game Locations at Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center at 2860 Louis Bauer Dr. The SOA Cheer Program gives young ladies from 5-12 years old the opportunity to learn basic cheer moves, cheer etiquette, teamwork, and the basic knowledge of the game of basketball. Cheer helps foster a healthy lifestyle while improving flexibility, balance, coordination, confidence, and social skills. Included in the registration cost are:
    -Weekly cheer practices                          
    -Cheer Uniform including top, bottom, and shorts                
    -Pom Poms               -Mega Phone

    -Cheer socks            -Cheer t-shirt                                         
    -Opportunity to compete in the End-of-Season Tournament Cheer Competition       
    -Opportunity to cheer at basketball games & tournaments
    -Opportunity to cheer at the AT&T Center

    Flag Football and 7 on 7

    SOA begins its inaugural season in the spring of 2015 in three different areas of San Antonio. There will be individual orientations for our North, South, and West locations. You are highly encouraged to attend your own perspective orientation. Our North League services the NEISD, JISD and CISD areas with practice locations at local schools. Games will be held at Rolling Hills Catholic School. Our West League services the NISD, Boerne ISD, and Bandera ISD area with games and practice locations at local schools. Our South League services are on the south side of San Antonio with practices being held at HISD schools or Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center. Games will be held at Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center, located at 2860 Louis Bauer Dr. The leagues are co-ed and open to children from 5-12 years old. Parents or adults wishing to volunteer or coach for flag football should contact the league at 210.775-2807 for registration information.  Registration includes 7 league games, a high quality reversible game jersey, flags, and at least 1 hour per week secured practice location with their team. 
    “Flag Football”:  Designed for players 5- 8 years old. Highly recreational designed for the beginner level of competition. Players will learn the basic fundamentals of football. This is a learning and development opportunity for the youth.  
    “7 on 7 Football”: Fast paced, pass oriented form of football that is designed to hone the skills of players without putting the physical toll on their bodies. Games are played on half of a football field with offenses always moving towards the End Zone. 

    Soccer

    SOA soccer runs in the Fall and Spring in the North, South and West areas of San Antonio. As one of the most popular sports around the world, soccer provides a fun outlet while still promoting the benefits of team work, discipline, coordination, physical conditioning and social interaction. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game of soccer such as dribbling, shooting, and passing. We offer training to our coaches and develop our teams throughout the season. We currently offer teams in the 6U (5 and 6 year olds), 8U (7 and 8 year olds) and 10U (9 and 10 year olds) and 12U (11 and 12 year olds) age groups. North practices are held at NEISD schools and games are played at Rolling Hills Catholic School. South practices and games are held at Brooks City-Base Health and Wellness Center and West practices are held at NISD Schools and games are played in the NISD area. The registration cost includes a high quality reversible game jersey and soccer socks. The season runs for 7 weeks and concludes with a single elimination end of season tournament.
